The Faculty Oral Surgery Clinic at UAB Medicine Inverness will provide elective dental and oral surgery services including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, IV anesthesia, bone grafting, in-office CT scans, tooth extractions and impacted teeth removal, according to an Oct. 28 news release.
More complex procedures, such as TMJ surgery, cancer treatment, 3D-guided facial reconstruction, trauma care and sleep apnea surgery, will continue to be performed at the Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital and Hoover Specialty Care locations.
