Four notes:
1. Nevada authorized dental therapists to practice in the state in 2019.
2. The new regulations list out guidelines for dental therapists to practice under the direct supervision of a dentist.
3. The organization also outlined licensing requirements and specified the services dental therapists are able to provide to patients who either have or have not first been seen by an authorizing dentist.
4. Continuing education requirements were also enacted for dental therapists.
