3 dental layoffs in 2024

Here are three layoffs happening in the dental industry affecting more than 1,000 individuals, as reported by Becker’s in 2024:

1. Invisalign manufacturer Align Technology announced plans to lay off 700 employees worldwide as part of its global restructuring plan. 

2. Federal employee health and dental insurance provider GEHA is planning to lay off more than 450 employees at its headquarters in Lee’s Summit, Mo.

3. Delta Dental Plans of California laid off more than 130 employees in Rancho Cordova, Calif.
