Revenue cycle management company Vyne Dental polled 500 dental patients in November on their expectations of dental practices when it comes to digital and technological advancements.

Insurance transparency was a top priority for patients who were polled, with 78% wanting to know their coverage and eligibility up front.

When it comes to communication and reminders, patients’ top preference was text messaging, which was favored by more than half of respondents. In addition, 87% of patients leaned toward receiving digital reminders through emails or text messages over other communication channels.

Seventy-five percent of respondents correlated updated technology and adoption with higher levels of trust.
