More than half of dental practices using PlanetDDS’s Denticon practice management software reported year-over-year same-store production growth in 2024.
The 2025 Dental Industry Outlook from Planet DDS analyzed more than 2,000 practices using the software for at least 24 months and found practices experienced growth in each quarter, according to a March 13 news release from the company.
Of the more than 3,400 practices on Denticon that the company analyzed, the average daily gross production for practices was $1,058 per hygienist, $3,815 per dentist and $8,436 per practice.
Nearly half of the practices in the report had a case acceptance rate between 40% and 70%, but the average case completion rate was 42%.
