Dental technology company 3Shape introduced TRIOS 6, its newest intraoral scanner.

In addition, the company launched TRIOS Dx Plus, a diagnostic software, and the DentalHealth patient app, according to a March 25 news release from 3Shape.

The new scanner has upgrades including hyperspectral technology and has diagnostic aid capabilities with TRIOS Dx Plus integration.

The AI-assistive software helps dentists identify oral conditions including surface and proximal caries, plaque, tooth wear and gingival recession.

TRIOS 6 has up to 110% higher scan resolution compared to previous 3Shape intraoral scanners, the release said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
