The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry has been named the best dental school in the U.S. in an inaugural ranking by BestDentalSchools.org.
Proximal Contact launched BestDentalSchools.org to connect industry members and provide insight on dental education in the U.S.
The inaugural ranking was developed using input from dental education stakeholders, alumni and current students, according to a March 31 news release.
Here are the top 10 dental schools in the U.S., according to the ranking:
1. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry
2. University of California, San Francisco
3. The University of Iowa College of Dentistry
4. University of Michigan
5. University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry
6. University of Maryland School of Dentistry
7. Texas A&M College of Dentistry
8. University of Florida
9. University of the Pacific School of Dentistry
10. University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry
