The University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry received a grant to add Pearl Calibrate into its educational and research programs.
Pearl Calibrate is an AI-powered clinical calibration tool for dental X-ray evaluation and diagnosis, according to a May 13 news release from Pearl.
The program improves consistency throughout dental organizations, including universities, dental clinics, radiology centers and insurance companies, according to the release.
Insights gathered from the integration are expected to be released later this year.
The university received the grant from the American Dental Education Association, the release said.
