The American Dental Association and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine have established the first-ever living clinical guideline program dedicated to oral healthcare.
The ADA Living Guideline Program will provide frequent, evidence-based recommendations to advance oral and overall health. Living guidelines will be updated as soon as new evidence emerges and is carefully reviewed by the organizations, according to a May 14 news release.
The program’s first focus will be to update the ADA’s 2017 guideline on evaluating oral cancer and potentially malignant disorders.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
