Number of pediatric dentists in the worst states for children’s oral health

There are 427 pediatric dentists in New Jersey, which was recently ranked as the worst state for children’s oral health in the U.S. 

WalletHub released a ranking of the best and worst states for children’s oral health April 8. KFF also recently updated its dashboard showing the number of dentists in each state across several specialties.

Here are the number of pediatric dentists in the five worst states for children’s oral health:

New Jersey: 427

Oklahoma: 72

Nevada: 97

Utah: 127

Louisiana: 94
