Here’s what you need to know:
1. Dr. Weber was convicted of two counts of filing fraudulent tax returns.
2. Investigators found Dr. Weber filed his 2006 and 2007 tax returns in 2009. On the tax returns, he stated he was not a U.S. citizen and hadn’t worked in the U.S. during the two years.
However, the assistant U.S. attorney handling the case determined Dr. Weber had been operating a private practice in 2006 and 2007.
3. In 2006, Dr. Weber’s gross receipts totaled $297,000, and in $283,000 in 2007. Dr. Weber claimed his only taxable income was from dividends.
4. Dr. Weber is set to appear in court for his sentencing Dec. 6. He faces up to three years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
