Rick Workman, DMD, the founder and executive chair of Heartland Dental, was added to this year’s Forbes “World’s Billionaires List.”
The 2026 list includes 3,428 billionaires, five of which are from the dental industry.
Dr. Workman ranked No. 2,481 on the list, with a net worth of $1.6 billion as of March 10.
Dr. Workman founded Heartland Dental in 1997. The Effingham, Ill.-based DSO has grown to support more than 1,900 offices in 39 states.
