Pennsylvania enacts dental faculty bill

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro has signed legislation that expands opportunities for dental school faculty.

House bill 2163 allows dentists with a restricted faculty license to practice at clinical facilities owned and operated by a dental school or an affiliated nonprofit academic health care center, according to a May 6 news release.

Pennsylvania currently has three dental schools.
