The Northeast Ohio Medical University Bitonte College of Dentistry recently received a $500,000 donation from Darrell and Ronna McNair.
Mr. McNair is chair of the NEOMED Board of Trustees and president and CEO of MVP Plastics. Mrs. McNair is the executive director of Cuyahoga Community College’s Center for Entrepreneurs in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.
The couple’s gift establishes the Darrell L. and Ronna J. McNair Dean’s Suite inside of the Rootstown, Ohio-based university, according to a May 11 news release. The donation was made in honor of Mr. McNair’s father, Clarence McNair, DDS, who practices in Dade City, Fla.
NEOMED, the third dental school in Ohio, opened in August 2025.
