Here are the executives leading 10 specialty-focused DSOs in 2026:

Jason Auerbach, DDS, and Mark Censoprano. Co-CEOs of Max Surgical Specialty Management (Hackensack, N.J.): Dr. Auerbach founded MSSM in 2023, adding Mr. Censoprano as Co-CEO the following year. Dr. Auerbach is a full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is also certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Mr. Censoprano has extensive leadership experience, previously serving as the CEO and president of Guardian Dentistry Partners, as well as the chief marketing officer at Aspen Dental.

Ashish Bagai and Amir Fardshi. Co-CEOs of Vitana Pediatric and Orthodontic Partners (Plantation, Fla.): Mr. Bagai worked in a variety of roles before Vitana, including serving as the head of strategy, operations and marketing at a global fintech company and as an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Fardshi previously served as the head of global real estate for Burger King and Popeyes. He  was also a private equity investor at Ares Management, where he evaluated investment opportunities in dentistry.

Dylan Bates. CEO of SALT Dental Partners (Phoenix): Mr. Bates has several years of leadership experience for multi-site healthcare companies, previously serving as CEO and COO of ATI Physical Therapy. He joined SALT in 2023 after serving as a board member for the DSO since 2019. He is also a board member and investor for several other companies.

Doug Drew. CEO of U.S. Oral Surgery Management (Irving, Texas): Mr. Drew became CEO of U.S. Oral Surgery Management in July 2025. He has more than 30 years of experience leading businesses, including multi-site organizations.

Mike Friguletto. CEO of Beacon Oral Specialists (Dallas): Mr. Friguletto has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in the healthcare industry. Before joining Beacon, he served as the president of U.S. Anesthesia Partners.

Matthew Haddad, DMD, and Daryl Dudum, DDS. Founders and Co-CEOs of Specialty1 Partners (Houston): The two founders lead one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., with a network of more than 220 offices in 28 states. Both dentists specialize in endodontics.

Dan Hosler. Founder and CEO of Allied OMS (Southlake, Texas): Mr. Hosler has spent more than 15 years in private equity. Before launching Allied OMS, he served as the chief development officer for Grand Rapids Ophthalmology and Blue Sky Vision.

Scotte Hudsmith. CEO of Specialized Dental Partners (Franklin, Tenn.): Mr. Hudsmith has led Specialized Dental Partners since 2022. He holds several other roles, including board member for Ascend Aesthetic Partners, principal investor for Dental Innovation Alliance and strategic advisor for Sheridan Capital Partners. 

Sami Webb DDS. CEO of Epic4 Specialty Partners (Scottsbluff, Neb.): In addition to serving as CEO of Epic4, Dr. Webb also owns Webb Orthodontics, a six-location practice in Nebraska and Wyoming. She launched the practice in 2024 and became CEO of Epic4 in 2022.

Azar Zaidi. CEO of Bond Orthodontic Partners (Frisco, Texas): Mr. Zaidi helped launch Bond Orthodontic Partners in 2021. He is also the founder and principal advisor of Healthcare Advisory Shop. Previously, he was the director of market development for PDS Health.
