John Trahan, who is not a licensed dentist, filed claims for dental services patients never received between 2013 and 2016, according to the Colorado attorney general. The Medicaid bills allegedly were submitted on behalf of dentists who no longer worked at the clinic.

Police arrested Mr. Trahan April 1. He faces one count of theft and two counts of computer crime, all felonies, according to the Post.

Mr. Trahan has posted bail and is scheduled to appear in court April 15.
