The drugstore has been piloting 13 SmileShops throughout eight states. Now, CVS is scheduled to open hundreds of SmileShops in the coming two years, which will double the SmileShops’ physical footprint.

Patients who visit the SmileShops receive access to SmileDirectClub’s teledentistry services. Those who visit the clinics can get access to 3D digital images of their teeth, teeth whitening kits and information on SmileDirectClub’s clear aligner therapy.

SmileDirectClub has a digital network of more than 240 licensed dentists and orthodontists who approve and manage patients’ aligner treatment plans. Patients check in through the teledentistry platform every 90 days.
