Boston-based LightForce Orthodontics has appointed Erica Rogers as CEO as the company enters its next phase of growth.
Ms. Rogers brings more than 30 years of medical technology leadership experience. She previously served as CEO of Silk Road Medical, leading the company through its 2019 IPO and subsequent acquisition by Boston Scientific. She has served on the LightForce board for two years.
Founder and former CEO Alfred Griffin, DMD, PhD, has transitioned to the role of chief product officer and board chair.
The leadership changes follow the company treating more than 200,000 patients with its 3D-printed bracket system, according to a July 16 news release.
