Little Rock, Ark.-based Lyon College School of Dental Medicine has named Ashley McMillan, DDS, as inaugural medical director of its dental program launched in partnership with Arkansas Children’s.
Dr. McMillan serves as the associate dean of clinical affairs at the dental school and brings more than a decade of experience in clinical care, graduate dental education and academic leadership, according to a July 23 news release.
The new dental program, launched earlier this month, provides clinical training and education to Lyon College dental students at the hospital. Lyon College and Arkansas Children’s are also working together on research and other academic initiatives.
