Straumann Group appoints new CEO

Dental implant and orthodontics company Straumann Group has named Christopher Norbye as its next CEO, effective Dec. 1. 

Mr. Norbye has more than two decades of international leadership experience and most recently served as CEO of Beijer Ref, a global technology company, according to an Aug. 19 news release from Straumann Group. 

Mr. Norbye will succeed Guillaume Daniellot, who is stepping down after nearly 20 years with Straumann Group, including seven years as CEO. 

Straumann Group has about 12,000 employees worldwide and its dental products and services are available in more than 100 countries.

“I am excited to join Straumann Group at an important point in its development,” Mr. Norbye said in the release. “I look forward to working with the strong management team and colleagues across Straumann Group to build on the momentum and drive the next phase of customer-focused, profitable growth.”
