Sartell, Minn.-based Persona Dental recently experienced a data breach affecting 3,386 patients.
Persona Dental reported the attack to the HHS Department’s breach portal Sept. 10. The types of protected health information exposed and the specific timeline of the incident have not been publicly disclosed.
The INC RANSOM ransomware group claimed responsibility for the attack and posted about it on the dark web June 6, Claim Depot reported Oct. 5.
