3. Use sound hiring procedures to employ honest people. Thorough background checks can often reveal previous fraudulent claims.
4. Know the red flags: a spotty work record, extensive criminal record, exaggerated details about incidents or symptoms and lack of witnesses.
5. Consider legally authorized video surveillance for your workplace.
