Mervin Alexander Rivas-Chang, 20, was found guilty of inappropriately touching a patient who was sedated after having her wisdom teeth removed at Maryland Oral Surgery Associates in 2017.

Prosecutors said the abuse happened as the teen patient awoke from sedation. Later, the teenager gave police a description of the perpetrator, and dental staff matched the description with Mr. Rivas-Chang, whose DNA was found on the victim, according to WTOP.
