Puerto Rico was hit by a magnitude 6.4 earthquake, knocking out power for more than two-thirds of the island. Families and children now face numerous challenges, especially since the healthcare structure of many communities has deteriorated.

Puerto Rico’s GoGo Pediatric Institute invited International Medical Relief to host clinics about health education and promotion for long-term sustainability in communities. The nonprofit is recruiting dentists to leave as early as this February.
