Myrtle Beach-based Ocean Bay Dental Care reopened last June after shuttering amid COVID-19. Now, trying to catch up from old cancellations, November is the earliest availability for new patients wanting a cleaning.

As COVID-19 vaccination rates rise, new patients are calling more frequently, said Ashton Quintana, a business associate at Ocean Bay Dental Care.

Local population growth has also led to waitlists for providers, reports WBTW.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
