Align Technology reports $1.16B in Q3

Tempe, Ariz.-based Align Technology earned $1.16 billion in revenue in its third quarter, the medical device company said Oct. 27.

The third quarter financial report shows the company’s revenue increased by 38.4 percent year over year. It earned $1 billion in quarterly revenue for the first time during its second quarter.

Align Technology made $837.6 million in revenue in the third quarter from its clear aligners, with its volume up by 0.7 percent since the second quarter and 36.4 percent year over year.
