Founded in 1974, Dental Aid started as a referral organization, connecting residents in low-income housing to dental providers. In 1980, the organization opened its first clinic in Boulder and has since expanded.
The organization offers discounted rates, accepts Medicare and Medicaid, and offers financial assistance to eligible patients.
Dental Aid’s annual budget is around $2.5 million, with 85 percent of that going directly to client services. In 2021, Dental Aid expects to subsidize services for up to 560 children, Ms. Reusser said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
