Chicago Dental Society installs president-elect

The Chicago Dental Society has installed Michael Durbin, DDS, as president-elect, the Daily Herald reported Dec. 14.

Dr. Durbin, installed Nov. 14, operates a private orthodontic practice in Des Plaines, Ill., and is a partner at Associated Dental Specialists of Long Grove (Ill.).

Dr. Durbin has served in several leadership positions with the Chicago Dental Society, including secretary, treasurer and vice president. He has also served as director and president of the organization’s Northwest suburban branch. Additionally, he has held leadership positions for the American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontists, Illinois State Dental Society and Midwestern Society of Orthodontists.

He will step into the role of president in 2023.
