Pennsylvania dentist accused of groping patient pleads guilty to simple assault charges

A Pennsylvania dentist accused of groping a patient in May 2021 and offering her free dental services for life has pleaded guilty to simple assault charges, WBRE/WYOU reported Jan. 28.

Albert Hazzouri, DDS, was originally charged with indecent assault in June. 

He was sentenced to one year of probation, a $5,000 fine and must undergo a mental health evaluation. He will not lose his medical license and will not be required to register as a sex offender.
