The ADA surveyed 1,883 dentists for its January “Economic Outlook and Emerging Issues in Dentistry” poll.
Percentage of practices who were unable to fill their appointment schedules 100 percent because of staff vacancies, according to geographic setting:
Rural: 35.3 percent
Top 20 cities: 34.4 percent
Other urban: 33.4 percent
Suburban: 21.2 percent
