The school will be North Carolina’s first private dental school and will be named the Workman School of Dental Medicine, according to a May 9 news release.
Rick Workman, DMD, is the founder of Heartland Dental and High Point University’s dental innovator in residence.
The Workman School of Dental Medicine plans to enroll its first class in fall 2023.
