The Yomi Robotic Dental System is the first and only FDA-cleared robot-assisted dental surgery system in the U.S.

The robot is guided by a programmed plan, but the dentist can change the plan and is in charge of the drill during the procedure. The robot is also able to monitor and track patient movements and adjust to them, the report said.

“We want patients to know, like look, we’re also evolving. We’re not going to stay behind the times,” Dr. Arastu told CBS Austin.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
