1. Global orthodontics company Ormco launched a repositionable hook for its Ultima wire to correct maloccluded teeth.

2. Orthodontics startup company KLOwen earned $10.5 million in series A funding. 

3. Bond Orthodontic Partners established a platform to provide its network practices with support resources. 

4. LightForce Orthodontics appointed Frank Quinn, former vice president and general manager of U.S. commercial at Align Technology, its chief revenue officer.

5. Spark Orthodontics acquired a two-location orthodontics practice in Indiana. 

6. Smile Doctors, an orthodontics-focused DSO, reached 324 supported clinics during the first quarter of 2022.

7. Candid is partnering with Kalli Hale, DDS, a sleep apnea and airway health specialist, to expand use of its clear aligners in conjunction with airway treatment.
