The Phil and Karen Hunke Special Care Clinic will serve adults and children with developmental and physical disabilities, according to a Sept. 8 post on the university’s website.
The grant was awarded by HHS’ Health Resources and Services Administration and will last for five years, covering personnel and operational costs of the clinic.
The clinic is expected to open by January 2024 with seven treatment rooms and five IV sedation suites.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
