The TeamSmile Dental Home Project uses a dental home model of care, which allows children going to TeamSmile programs who lack access to regular dental care to be connected with a local primary dentist to receive long-term care, according to a Sept. 29 news release.

Since its pilot, the project has connected about 700 children with a dental office in their community.

DentaQuest is the largest provider of Medicaid and CHIP dental solutions in the U.S., according to the release.
