Two updates:

  1. Penn Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia added a dual degree in dentistry and nutrition science in partnership with Penn Nursing. The new program will teach dental professionals to address how nutrition plays a role in oral health issues and how they both relate to overall health.
  2. Columbia University in New York City established a dual degree in dentistry and engineering. The program aims to alleviate a shortage of scientists in the dental industry who can translate scientific findings into dental care.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence. Apply for complimentary registration now.
