Two updates:
- Penn Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia added a dual degree in dentistry and nutrition science in partnership with Penn Nursing. The new program will teach dental professionals to address how nutrition plays a role in oral health issues and how they both relate to overall health.
- Columbia University in New York City established a dual degree in dentistry and engineering. The program aims to alleviate a shortage of scientists in the dental industry who can translate scientific findings into dental care.
