Longest-serving dental school dean in US to retire

William Lobb, DDS, dean of Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, will retire June 30.

After serving the school for nearly 30 years, Dr. Lobb is the longest-serving dental school dean in the country, according to a Jan. 17 news release from the university.

The university will begin searching for its next dental school dean in the coming weeks.

Marquette University School of Dentistry is the only dental school in Wisconsin.
