The general dentist at the practice is Tyler Lasseigne, DDS.
One couple, Mattie and James Woodard, who are both patients at the practice, told WAFB they were scheduled to have an appointment in December, but it was canceled. The couple said they have not heard from Dr. Lasseigne or his team since the cancellation.
A nearby business told WAFB that several patients have come to the practice looking for Dr. Lasseigne.
The Louisiana State Board of Dentistry issued this statement to WAFB: “The executive director of the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry is currently looking into the situation but could not comment on any disciplinary matters.”
