4 dental updates in Florida

Here are four dental industry updates that have taken place in Florida since March 3:

1. Miami-based Guardian Dentistry Partners added Orange Park Dental Partners, which has four practices throughout Florida.

2. The Florida Board of Dentistry revoked the license of Charles Stamitoles, DDS, who was convicted of inappropriately touching a female employee.

3. Patients of Gutierrez Orthodontics in Tampa, Fla., claimed their dentist was not responding to requests to complete outstanding procedures.

4. Implant Center of Miami, a cosmetic dental practice, opened its sixth Florida office in Hialeah Feb. 20.
