Florida dentist who ‘disappeared’ arrested on probation violation

A dentist in Florida who patients believed had gone missing was arrested on probation violation, according to a March 31 report by NBC News Channel 8.

Gutierrez Orthodontics in Tampa, led by Alex Gutierrez, DDS, had been closed for more than three weeks, and no one at the practice had been responding to patients regarding their ongoing treatments. 

Dr. Gutierrez is at the Pinellas County jail without bond stemming from a reckless driving conviction in 2022, the report said.
