The app allows the 2 million Texas Medicaid and CHIP members to manage their preventive and restorative dental care services, change their main dentist and find dentists near them, according to a July 10 news release.
The purpose of the app is to improve efficiency, care equity and member experience and lower administrative costs.
The app is planned to launch in Florida next, the release said.
DentaQuest is a Medicaid benefits administrator that manages dental and vision benefits for more than 33 million Americans in all 50 states.
