TeleDent will allow DentaQuest-affiliated dentists to participate in both live and asynchronous visits with patients. The platform provides file-sharing options, interactive video interfaces and messaging technology.

In a June 15 news release, DentaQuest’s president, Todd Cruse, said the company believes teledentistry “will be an increasingly important part of oral health in the future, facilitating improved access for those in underserved communities and accelerating medical-dental integration.”
