The medical device company’s Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro gives orthodontists the ability to show patients in-face and 3D dentition outcomes within minutes for a more streamlined consultation, according to a May 19 news release.
The simulations are created using patient photos uploaded to the Invisalign Practice App and scans taken by Align’s iTero Element Plus series scanner. Orthodontists can continue consultations with patients while the simulations are being created.
The Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro is currently in limited market release and will be made available on all iTero Element Plus Series scanners and imaging systems starting in the second half of 2022.
