MouthWatch, a company that specializes in facilitating teledentistry and selling digital imaging devices, won the “silver award” in the health products category, according to a Dec. 8 news release emailed to Becker’s. For each category, four companies were selected for a gold, silver or bronze award or honorable mention.
Inc. editors reviewed achievements of small and medium-size companies over the last year and how they made a positive difference. They then selected honorees in more than 49 industries. The applicant pool consisted of about 2,700 entries and had an acceptance rate in the low single digits, according to the release.
“What began for us during the pandemic as an effort to showcase companies that were helping the community has grown into a recognition of social, environmental, and economic impact,” Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc., said in the release.
