Grin is providing teledentistry services to Oral-B customers through a partnership between the two companies, Grin said Jan. 11. 

Global financial services organization Sun Life has partnered with teledentistry.com to provide its members with virtual access to dental providers, Sun Life said Jan. 5. 

Dentulu is partnering with television consumer engagement company Independa to offer teledentistry services to patients through their TVs, the Los Angeles-based teledentistry company said Jan. 4. 

Tempe, Ariz.-based Align Technology has pledged $1 million over five years to the American Association Orthodontists Foundation, the medical technology company said Dec. 21.

The Federal Trade Commission approved a final order settling charges that the Alabama Board of Dental Examiners violated antitrust laws by requiring dentists be onsite to supervise tooth alignment scans, according to a Dec. 21 news release.
