SmileShops provide patients with another way to access SmileDirectClub’s orthodontic telehealth platform, according to a July 11 news release.
Locations were opened in California, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, New York, Indiana, Illinois, New Jersey and Missouri. With the new openings, SmileDirectClub has 128 total SmileShop locations.
The new SmileShops mark the company’s first expansion into the U.S. retail space since 2020.
SmileDirectClub also recently served its 2 millionth customer, the release said.
