CarePlus includes access to a local dentist or orthodontist for check-ins, 24/7 customer service care, expedited shipping and scalloped-edge aligners and retainers, according to a July 24 news release from SmileDirectClub.
SmileDirectClub piloted CarePlus in four U.S. markets earlier in 2023 and also opened 18 SmileShop locations across 10 states in July.
CarePlus is $3,900 when paid in full compared to the traditional service, which is $2,250 when paid in full, the release said.
