Thurston Group, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, has appointed Roe McFarlane as CEO of its Modis advanced education initiative.

Effingham, Ill.-based Heartland Dental recently added a Florida dental practice to its network. 

A California dentist and two of her employees were sentenced for defrauding the state Medi-Cal program of nearly $800,000.

Providence Dental Partners recently added a Georgia dental practice to its network.

Great Neck, N.Y.-based The Smilist recently added Hirshberg Wozny Dental Care to its network.
