US sees 15% increase in prosthodontists in 2 decades

The number of U.S. prosthodontists has grown only 15 percent in the last 20 years, according to data from the American Dental Association.

The association collected data on the total number of dentists by specialty and the ratio per capita in a January report.

Listed below are the number of prosthodontists practicing in the U.S. each year between 2001 and 2021:
