Median net income for oral and maxillofacial surgeons in private practices was $445,120 in 2022, according to data collected by the American Dental Association's Health Policy Institute. 

The information was gathered in the ADA's annual "Survey of Dental Practice," and the results are weighted to account for oversampling and nonresponse bias.
